News ReleaseNakea launches studio for radio and Internet
6/16/2005
Nakea announced today that it has opened its new office and recording studio in Seattle, Washington, dedicated to creating a two-way sysndication platform between the web and radio.
The multi-purpose studio will be used in a number of new and exciting ventures for Nakea’s media production arm. These ventures include partnerships with the radio broadcast industry, and new productions for both Webcasting and Pod casting.
“I’m excited about reconnecting with a number of friends and associates in broadcasting and technology,” said Nakea president, Chris Nakea. “In the mid 90’s we were at the forefront of merging rich media with some of the biggest names in broadcasting and other well known contributors that were experts in various fields. We were ahead of the curve at the time, but the explosive adoption of the platform over the past couple of years has brought us to a point where it is now not only viable, but inevitable.”
The studio is a state-of-the-art production facility used for voice-over production and caller-interactive talk shows, which will be broadcast through radio stations as well as webcasts and Podcasts.
In addition to its long history in media production, Nakea brings years of experience and a long line of credits in development of community based and data-driven internet sites and applications.
The company is currently in discussions with a number of strategic content and distribution partners for both radio and the Internet and plans to launch the first of its productions in July of 2006.
